Why Horses?
As prey animals, horses are continuously reading the body language, nervous system and intentions of those around them. They are tuned into the present moment, staying aware of and responding to the subtle changes in people, animals and their surrounding environment. This allows the horse to offer, in the moment, honest feedback, without an agenda or an attachment to how it will be received.
At Capall Coaching & Consulting we believe that when the leaders we work with adapt how they are showing up and approaching these equine interactions, the horses mirror this shift, and thus support the leader in embodying and integrating this new approach to leadership.

EFLD for Students
Taking time out of the classroom can be tricky.
With this in mind, we align our programs with the BC Ministry of Education Core Competencies and Curriculum. Our lesson plans are adapted for each grade level, and connect with relevant Big Ideas, Curricular Competencies and Content.
Our team includes facilitators with a background in both the public and independent school systems. Additionally, our team has significant experience and training in working with students with a range of diversities.

NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Jodine Buydens
Horses have been my teachers for as long as I can remember, and my journey has been an unconventional one. I honed my leadership skills with 1200 lb animals, mastered my mental performance with mindfulness, and know that real shifts happen when we include the nervous system, whether we are breaking old patterns or creating new ones.
I've been a Horse Whisperer, an Equestrian Program Director and I've served on a School Leadership Team. But these days you'll find me supporting purpose-driven leaders as they explore the furthest edges of their potential, and align with the deeper truths of who they are.
